Yoga & Meditation
A great activity to unwind and relax during a phase of life when you are experiencing a lot of changes, yoga and meditation are highly recommended. It not just allows you to get some precious 'me' time but also lets you focus on what lies ahead. Being pregnant is a wonderful thing and is a very joyous journey but can get very exhausting with all the extra weight you are carrying that can lead to aches and pains you are not prepared for. As your body grows bigger to adjust the baby, you are mentally not prepared for many changes that it brings with it. Getting used to the often clumsy movements of your own body can take a while. To ease into a more relaxed state of being, meditation is very helpful. Yoga offers the benefit of being a light exercise for the body with a holistic approach. Take out time for yourself and you will enjoy your pregnancy much more.
